Jun holds a PhD in CS at Cornell University focusing on cryptographic security research. He joined crypto in 2015 doing crypto mining. He has been a smart contract developer and auditor since 2017, being a white hat to secure several protocols in war rooms. He was also an anon core contributor to an Ethereum DeFi protocol ranking top 5 by TVL back in 2020, the 1st DeFi summer. He joined Ava Labs as a Tech Lead and Research Partner at Blizzard Fund afterwards. Jun is well versed in DeFi protocol design, smart contract development, tokenomics design, cryptographic security. Jun also has experience with AI, having published research on speech recognition during his undergraduate studies.
