Pranav Raval is a seasoned data infrastructure leader with deep expertise in building and scaling large-scale data systems. He is currently leading Shelby, Web3’s first decentralized, cloud-grade hot storage protocol co-developed by Aptos Labs and Jump Crypto. Pranav also serves as Head of Infrastructure at Aptos Labs, where he oversees the core blockchain and research teams. The team has built the fastest and most scalable blockchain in the industry. Previously, Pranav was Head of Batch Compute at Meta/Facebook, where he built the core compute infrastructure for all of Meta products. Under his leadership, 1.5 exabytes of data were processed daily to power Meta’s analytics across various platforms.
