Karl Floersh, Co-Founder of Optimism, CTO of OP Labs Karl Floersch is the Co-Founder of Optimism. Earlier in his career, Karl was a blockchain engineer at ConsenSys and a Researcher with the Ethereum Foundation. While at the Ethereum Foundation, Karl conducted core research on consensus protocols and scaling, and supported Plasma Group, a nonprofit research organization that pushed forward early Layer 2 tech and eventually spun into Optimism.
