Baek Kim is a General Partner at Hashed, a global venture capital firm specializing in early-stage investments in blockchain. Based in Silicon Valley, Baek leads Hashed’s venture investment efforts. Baek actively facilitates strategic partnerships with institutions, policymakers, and developers to advance the adoption of blockchain technologies. He has consistently backed sector pioneering founders such as beginnings of Ethena, Worldcoin, Axie Infinity, Aptos, The Sandbox, Near and Story Protocol. Prior to Hashed, he served as a software engineer at Amazon Web Services, focusing on IoT and robotics, and founded a last-mile logistics company. Baek studied Electrical & Computer Engineering with focus in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University.
