I’m a self-taught software developer and maker. I like making with parts that can be bought from SparkFun or Adafruit and cobbled together to solve an actual problem, make life easier, or be fun. I get things working and move on, rather than refining them to be smaller/cheaper/better. I got started making during the lull of covid-lockdown – I was the first person to make a UVC compliant webcam with a raspberry pi + raspberry pi camera! My instructions were shown in a Jeff Geerling video.
