Alexis Johnson is Co-Founder & CEO of Light Node Ventures, where she helps Web3 and AI companies grow from early innovation to global scale. Since launching the firm in 2018, she has contributed to multiple acquisitions and projects that reached over $1B in peak market capitalization. Alexis focuses on cross-border market expansion, commercialization, and go-to-market strategy. She helps founders translate technical innovation into real adoption by building partnerships, opening global markets, and positioning companies for long-term growth. She also serves as President of the Johns Hopkins Blockchain & Fintech Network, connecting students, alumni, and industry leaders across the global blockchain ecosystem. Alexis graduated Cum Laude from Loomis Chaffee and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Johns Hopkins University’s Whiting School of Engineering. She is a Little Rock Nine Scholarship recipient.
