An in-depth analysis of achieved mainnet on-chain maximum throughput measurements vs. hardware resource costs of running a single validator, to illustrate the resource efficiency of various Layer-1's. Many Layer-1's claim theoretical throughputs that are not realizable on their mainnets, and the realized throughputs come often at exorbitant hardware resource costs. This analysis simply measures and illustrates the resource efficiencies of actually realized mainnet throughput performance.
