Katarina Feder is the Director of Business Development at Artists Rights Society (ARS), an origination that represents the copyright of 120,000+ artists worldwide. She is a founder and CEO of Arsnl Art – a digital platform born out of ARS’ 35-year legacy of promoting and protecting artists’ rights. For over three years she maintained a monthly advice column on ArtNet, entitled Know Your Rights, where she answers questions on matters of intellectual property and more. She is frequently interviewed on topics of IP and art and technology and provides her expert opinion for publications including The Art Newspaper, Art News, and Whitewall, to name a few. Born and raised in New York City, Katarina holds a BA from Emory University, an MA in art history from The Institute of Fine Arts (NYU) and an MBA from Stern School of Business (NYU). Prior Speaking Experience: Katarina Feder speaks and writes extensively on matters of artists’ rights and technology. She has been invited to guest lecture for graduate and postgraduate students at Dartmouth University, Yale University, New York University, and Pratt University, to name a few. She frequently participates as a panelist- and moderator- at conventions and fairs. Recent speaking engagements include SXSW, Art Basel Miami, NADA Miami, Untitled, Frieze Los Angeles, Center for Practice of Art Law, and The Aspen Institute’s Artist Endowed Foundation, and more.
