Sam MacPherson is CEO and co-founder at Phoenix Labs, an R&D company specialising in smart contracts for DeFi. In this role, Sam is responsible for the ongoing development and support of Spark, a community-driven DAO led by SparkDAO members, a Sky Star within the Sky ecosystem. Having joined crypto as a hobby during the 2017 bull run, Sam came across MakerDAO (now Sky) and was instantly hooked by DeFi. Sam has experience within the MakerDAO/Sky ecosystem as a community member, developer, and protocol engineer. His experience navigating governance, risk management and smart contract design positions him at the forefront of building DeFi systems that meet institutional standards.
